Description

Over the past two years, Red Line Service artist/activists have developed prints depicting the seven dimensions of the international human right to housing based on their experiences as people most impacted by homelessness and housing insecurity. The prints support advocacy at the national, state, and local levels for recognition of the right to adequate housing. Please join us, contribute your ideas, and explore the power of art to advance a right to housing, where all can live in peace, security, and with recognition of their humanity.

As is our practice, we will share a light meal together after the session. People with lived experience of being unhoused or housing insecure, will receive train fare.

For those who are new to our venue, please note these instructions.

For drivers:

Come south on Iron Street, pass the door that's labeled 3636 S. Iron and drive to the corner of 37th Street. Turn right and enter the parking lot on your right at the gate.

For walkers: when you are walking down Iron Street, you will come to the door with 3636 S Iron Street on it and the building sign, 36 Squared. You will see an alleyway between 3636 S. Iron and our neighbor, Marz Brewery. There is an entrance down that alley.

For everyone: We are in a secured building. Call or text 312/885-2254 for access when you arrive.
